Hi:
This painting 'Ice Cream Sisters', just arrived in Whitehorse today from Montreal. Halin painted it about 6 weeks ago, while helping his Mum. His Mum was ill with cancer for many months and sadly passed away late last year.
If you've been reading the blog posts you'll know Halin is in Argentina, spending a lot of time in Bariloche and Nocochea. Here's the cabin he's almost finished building in Nocochea. It's very hot there, I think almost +36 degrees, which is 60 degrees warmer than Dawson was this morning (Saturday March, 14.)
We're having a BIG signing party Friday May 1st at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre. Halin will sign four prints, one is 'Moonlight Quest'.
The other is 3 Dogs - which we will rename, based on the new names sent to Halin's FB page.
The winner of the naming contest gets the first signed print (one of 50), and a lovely bottle of Malbec wine.
The other print to be signed is the wonderful 'Getting in"
So we hope you can join Halin, May 1st, at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre in Whitehorse from 5-8:00 p.m.
