FOR RELEASE
September 4, 2014

Dawson City, Yukon – Well known Yukon artist, Halin de Repentigny, announced a new management partnership today with The Artist Project; a Whitehorse based team consisting of Susan Stanley, Allan Nixon and Jean Pascal Remon.

“I am very pleased to be working with The Artist Project to promote my work across Canada and around the world” de Repentigny said. “Having a team focussed on the business and promotional aspects of my career allows me the freedom to concentrate on what is most important and enjoyable, creating art”.

While Halin is busy creating new works in his studio in Dawson City, The Artist Project has moved forward on several fronts. A newly designed website, http://halinderepentigny.ca/, will be officially launched at a special event in Whitehorse September 6, 2014. Halin will also hold a private showing in Vancouver on October 1st, 2014 for collectors, gallery owners, new fans and special Yukon guests. In addition The Artist Project has secured space in the New York based International Contemporary Artists annual art publication that is distributed to galleries, museums and bookstores worldwide.

“We are thrilled to be working with an artist of Halin’s calibre”, said Susan Stanley. “We believe passionately that Halin deserves to be known and appreciated around the world and we are committed to making that happen”.

While external audiences are important, Halin remains committed to the many Yukoners who have supported him over the years. In recognition of this loyal following de Repentigny will premier new works at a public show in Whitehorse in early November 2014.
